No expense has been spared and no detail overlooked. These cottages are in an excellent state of repair, and range in size from two to three bedrooms, each with a 3 or 4-piece bath. Guests cook the catch of the day on the accompanying propane barbecue,then relax and enjoy the spectacular sunset in the Adirondack chairs.
The marine equipment at Green Road Cottages consists of 18’ Lake Nipissing Challenger Fiberglass boats, one of the safest boats made for this lake. Each is furnished with all safety equipment,life jackets and fish finders. The recently upgraded outboards are electric start 25 hp., ample to enjoy the over 35 square miles of Callander Bay waters or to venture further out into Lake Nipissing.
Lake Nipissing is famous for it’s fishery,and winter ice fishing is no
exception. Green Road Cottages offers quality ice-fishing packages for their guests, with wood heated huts and warm and cozy cottages.
Transportation is provided to and from the huts. And for the sledder, the riding doesn’t get much better than this. Direct access to the OFSC groomed snowmobile trails are right from the lodge. Guests can stay at Green Road Cottages as their base, and enjoy a different sledding adventure every day. Additionally,there are several Nordic Ski Clubs nearby where guests can enjoy over 50 kms of groomed and track set cross country ski trails, and a downhill ski & snowboarding club in North Bay.
Other amenities at the lodge include several seasonal and overnight trailer sites, and a central washroom and shower house. The owners home is centrally situated in the camp, and has an office and reception area for incoming and outgoing guests. There is also an attached double car garage.
