Set in Missinabi Provincial Park this lodge forms part of the Missinabi River system, a specially designated "Water Wilderness Park". The system flows 426 Kilometres from the Abitibi Uplands near Lake Superior, north to James Bay. The Lodge Lake offers unspoiled scenic beauty and fabulous fishing, as well as the historic ruins of an 18th century fur trading post.
The large rustic Main Lodge and its spectacular views only compliments the six tastefully decorated log cottages. Each cottage is privately situated and contains living/dining area, a kitchen and two bedrooms. Large picture windows and screened-in porches afford breathtaking view of the lake. Each cottage is equipped with propane lighting, refrigeration and stoves and can accommodate up to six guests.
Fishing is spectacular on the Lodge Lake. With 10,000 acres and 37 islands, numerous sheltered bays, inlets, and river mouths, offers a rich selection of fishing terrain. Northern Pike, Walleye, Whitefish and Jumbo Perch abound.
Located next to the Chapleau Crown Land Game Preserve hunting is spectacular for Moose, Bear and Small Game. The Preserve allows no hunting at all so the wildlife can naturally reproduce and then roam into the hunting areas of this secluded lodge.
